Mike Elliott

Vice President & Branch Manager

Main Office

Jacksonville

Mike Elliott, Vice President of ECA, started his career working for Mississippi Valley Equipment’s Missouri office. He was then moved to the Jacksonville, Florida location where he quickly advanced from sales to Branch Manager. It was here that he developed a solid foundation in pile driving equipment and steel sheet piling. Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture out on his own. He jumped on an opportunity as Director and President of Pile Equipment, Inc. in nearby Green Cove Springs in 1987 and remained there until it was acquired by ECA in 2015. Mike became a shareholder in the company, which focused on selling, renting, and repairing pile driving equipment in the southeastern U.S. He was also a shareholder in Applied Foundation Testing, PLLC, and founded Pile Hammer Depot between 2003 and 2015.

Mike actively supports the foundation construction industry through various trade associations including ADSC-IAFD, Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), Pile Driving Contractors Association (PDCA), and Florida Transportation Builders Association. He has also conducted training courses including South Carolina Department of Transportation Hammer School, ASCE Hydraulic Hammer Presentation, Coast Guard Diesel Hammer School, and Pile Drivers Inspection Course for Florida DOT. Mike graduated from Southeast Missouri State in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
