Overview: Equipment Corporation of America (ECA) is a fully certified and licensed dealer for all BAUER Maschinen products in the Eastern United States and all of Canada since 2004. We sell, rent and service heavy foundation equipment such as hydraulic drill rigs, pile driving rigs, diaphragm cutters, duty cycle cranes and all attachments and tooling needed to execute our customers special foundation projects.

ECA was founded in 1918 and is a family-owned business with ten locations across North America. Having a long-term relationship with BAUER, and it is an honor for us to import and support their products on the most challenging projects in our territory. Our mission is to provide the North American contractors with the most advanced equipment. ECA has a team called “The BAUER Service Team”. It is made up of civil engineers, start-up specialists, operator trainers, equipment managers, and troubleshooting experts. Having a strong diverse team with experience in the field and on the equipment makes helping how projects are bid, planned for, and executed very valuable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review boring logs, drawings, and project specifications that are provided by our customers.
  • Recommend rig, tooling, and application requirements as required by project specifications.
  • Introduce BAUER technology such as Kelly Drilling, FDP, CFA, CSM, Slurry Cutters, Soil Mixing, Secant Pile and Double Head Drilling applications to the engineering community to advance the design, application, or value engineering of these design processes.
  • Assist sales team in the completion of quotations for equipment packages as required by project specifications.
  • Travel to jobsites for start-ups in conjunction with one of our operator trainers.
  • Prepare and give equipment and application presentations to ECA employees and customers.
  • Prepare jobsite stories and presentations and make them accessible to the Sales Team for presentation to their customers.
  • Function as a creative thinking consultant by introducing new technology that will add value to our sales team and customers and give them a competitive advantage in their current market.

Job Requirements:

  • A Passion for BAUER equipment.
  • Being a strong collaborator. We have a talented team where everyone brings a different value to the table.
  • On-site experience. Having several years of project engineering or management experience and or experience gained from working for a special foundation equipment manufacturer.
  • Must be willing to travel within the United States of America and Canada.
  • College degree in Civil engineering (or similar) preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
