Job description
Ridgeline Equipment is expanding and looking to add a new key team member to assist the company in structured growth, culture and the great customer service that Ridgeline Equipment currently exemplifies. Ridgeline Equipment is the emerging leader in aftermarket drilling attachments and support equipment. Ridgeline Equipment directly supports the piling, foundation drilling, tie back and geo drilling sector throughout Western Canada.
We support several brands of equipment as well as being a direct dealer and service partner for Bauer, Klemm, RTG, Oberman, MAT Slurry handling, Dawson, Pile Master, Digga drives and attachments, Word Rock Drills, Headwind Solutions and many more. We offer heavy equipment repairs and support of piling hammers and drills, grouting equipment, cranes, heavy equipment, and all drilling and piling support equipment.
This position is permanent, full-time and requires being away for long periods of time. Applicants with prior experience in the piling, drilling or crane repair industry would be an asset.
Ideal Candidates should possess the following characteristics:
Knowledge and experience with hydraulics, electronics, engines, transmissions, and controls systems for the following types of equipment. Hydraulic Drills, Telescopic Cranes, Lattice Boom Cranes, Hydraulic and Diesel Fired Hammers, Loader, Excavators and Skid Steers, etc.
Knowledge and experience Bauer, RTG, Klemm, Liebherr, Soilmec, Tadano, Linkbelt, Terex, Juntann, Cat, John Deere & Komatsu Equipment.
- Journeyman Ticket in the province of Alberta, Red Seal Ticket, or Interprovincial Certification for Canada.
- Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract.
- Capable of working 12 hours per day.
- Willing to work in remote locations.
- Willing to work outside for periods of time up to 12 hours continuously.
- Willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions in summer or winter.
- Able to speak fluent English.
- Able and willing to use computers daily for many job-related duties.
- Willing and able to travel to jobsites and locations and stay away from home for some time multiple days at a time.
- Job Duties and Responsibilities.
- Comply with not only Ridgeline Equipment's safety program but all clientele and customers safety programs.
- Complete DNA (Drug and Alcohol) Testing (Pre-Access for certain Jobsites, Post-Incident and Reasonable Cause Testing in effect).
- Arrive on site or at the shop on time and fit for duty.
- Comply with lock out tag out procedures.
- Complete JSA, FLRA and SWP's.
- Drive company supplied vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Perform service, repair, and adjustments on all aspects of heavy equipment onsite in a safe and productive manner.
- Perform pre trip inspections, and drivers log and obey hours of service legislation for the province or territory motor vehicles are being operated in.
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized and appealing to customers.
- Complete daily tasks provided by scheduling manager.
- Communicate in a professional manner.
- Organize and complete paperwork including (incoming work requests, work orders, daily inspections.)
- Perform and organize scheduled and preventative maintenance.
- Perform routine inspections.
- Work in a team manner.
- Look up, source and order required parts as necessary.
- Represent Ridgeline Equipment professionally.
- Able to self-manage time to be productive and efficient.

- Salary: $41.00 -$55.00 per hour depending on level of competency and experience

Preferred Candidates values
- Heavy Equipment Repair: 3 years (preferred)
- License/Certification: Third Year apprentice Off Road, Journey man Off road, Red Seal Off Road Certification
