BAUER In-House Exhibition 2026: What ECA Customers Need to Know
Every year BAUER opens its headquarters in Schrobenhausen, Germany to the global foundation industry for the In-House Exhibition. This year drew more than 1,400 professionals from around the world. Equipment Corporation of America was there, bringing customers face-to-face with the equipment and technology coming to job sites across the U.S. and Canada.
ECA VP of Marketing Jeff Harmston said the Bauer In-House event is a great way to get customers in front of the equipment coming to North America.
“Our customers love making the trip to Schrobenhausen because it’s not just about seeing machines on display,” Harmston said. “They get to experience the equipment in action, talk directly with the engineers and product teams, and connect with other contractors from around the world. It gives them a level of confidence and understanding that you just can’t replicate anywhere else.”
Next-Generation Rotary Drilling Rigs
The headline machine was the BG 50, BAUER’s successor to the BG 45, built on the new BT 145 carrier. It delivers measurable performance gains across the board:
- Increased torque and drilling performance
- 7% greater single-pass drilling depth
- 11% higher main winch pulling force
- 470 kW of power with improved hydraulic performance
- Easier mobilization with an extended mast that can be erected without an auxiliary crane
The BG 36 H was also on display set up for Continuous Flight Auger drilling, but with this new configuration, it can be quickly converted to Kelly drilling. The BG 30 H rounded out the rotary lineup with a low-headroom configuration and adjustable mast extensions, built for restricted-access sites without sacrificing performance. All rigs ship with B-Tronic 5, BAUER’s latest control system, for improved operator interface and customization.
Deep Cutting: MC 96 with BC 35 Cutter
The MC 96 duty-cycle crane, equipped with the BC 35 cutter and HDS 135 T hose drum system, enables diaphragm wall cutting to 135 meters, reaching depths that open the door to the most demanding deep foundation projects.
RG 22 S: A True Multi-Purpose Piling Platform
The RG 22 S was the standout in the piling category, capable of handling piling, drilling, and ground improvement applications as the Swiss-Army Knife of rigs:
- Up to 240 kNm of torque
- Up to 600 kN pulling force for single-pass methods
- Continuous mast positioning from −90° to +90° with FreeLock technology
- Integrated Kelly drilling capability
- Free-hanging load capacity up to 30 tons
The RG 19, eRG 21 T hybrid, and MPZ 700–800 sheet pile press (with increased stroke speeds and automated operation) rounded out the piling lineup.

Ground Improvement and Slurry Systems
The BCM 5 L soil mixing cutter was featured for its trenching performance across a wide range of ground improvement applications, supported by BAUER MAT’s CMS 50 mixing plant, IPA 460 injection plant, and HPI 800 high-pressure pump. Together, these systems address groundwater control, soil stabilization, and environmental containment on a single platform.
KLEMM Drilling Innovations and Electrification
KLEMM Bohrtechnik’s KR 806-3E is an electro-hydraulic rig built for zero-emission operation, well-suited for urban environments and projects with strict environmental requirements. The KR 801-3GK and KR 710-3G demonstrated KLEMM’s continued focus on compact, high-performance design for tight-access work.
What This Means for ECA Customers
ECA was on the ground in Schrobenhausen to evaluate performance, access, and job site economics for North American contractors.
ECA Sales Manager Rich Anderson put it directly:
“Every machine we saw is built around solving problems contractors deal with every day. Whether it’s more torque, better access, or faster setup, it all comes back to helping our customers be more productive.”
Gordian Ulrich, ECA VP of Bauer Products and Services said Bauer's solution-oriented product designs align with ECA's commitment to its customers.
“What stands out is how BAUER continues to focus on applications. These machines are not designed to be general purpose. They are built to perform in the toughest conditions, and that is exactly what our customers in North America need.”
50 Years of BAUER Rotary Drilling Innovation
The 2026 exhibition also marked 50 years of BAUER rotary drilling rigs, from the original BG 7 to the BG 50 on the floor today. That trajectory of continuous innovation is why ECA has built its BAUER relationship over decades, and why our customers can count on the equipment they purchase today being supported well into the future.
Ready for North America
ECA has the inventory pipeline, application expertise, and field support to put this equipment to work for U.S. and Canadian contractors without delay. Contact us to learn more about the latest BAUER technology and available equipment.
